The building contains two bicycle storage areas for you as a resident. These are located in the basement and are accessible via the exterior gate of the high-rise building or via the lift in the high-rise building. Above the door, the room numbers are indicated for which room numbers the respective bicycle storage area is intended. Please make use of these bicycle storage areas; after all, your bike is safer here under CCTV cameras than outside and it will not block anyone's way. It is also possible to place your bicycle in the bicycle racks near the car park. However, there is a risk that your bicycle may be stolen here. There are no CCTV cameras in the car park. The bicycle storage area is exclusively intended for bicycles. Items other than bicycles are not permitted here and will be removed. Motorcycles or scooters can be parked outside near the car park. It is not permitted to store motorcycles or scooters indoors due to fire safety regulations. In addition, due to safety regulations, it is not permitted to place bicycles in the hallway and/or in the units.
The GEB Tower has two washrooms.
Ground floor
The utility room on the ground floor features:
• Two washing machines
• Two dryers
This laundry room is open 24 hours a day, every day.
Fourth floor
The laundry room on the fourth floor features:
• Three washing machines
• Three dryers
This laundry room is open daily from 08:00 to 00:00.
Book and pay
Book a time slot in advance for every washing machine or dryer you wish to use. Stick to your reserved time so that other residents can also use the machines on time. All washing machines and dryers operate with contactless payment. Washing and drying tokens are no longer used.
Use of the machinery
• Use the washing machines and dryers with care
• Follow the instructions in the laundry rooms
• Fill a machine up to a maximum of two-thirds
• Do not use washing powder
• Clean the dryer filter after use
• Leave the laundry room clean and tidy
• Turn off the lights when you leave
• Always check the care label on your clothes before washing or drying

Outside in the car park, there is a compactor container where you can dispose of your household waste. If the compactor container is not working, please report this to the technical manager as soon as possible. Instructions for using the compactor container are on the compactor container. It is NOT permitted to place bin bags anywhere else in and/or around the building. You may receive a fine for this.
On the ground floor, next to the lounge area, are:
• Two vending machines
• Two coffee and tea vending machines
Residents can buy various snacks and drinks at the vending machines. Hot drinks are available from the coffee and tea machines.
Payment can be made contactlessly.
GEB Tower has two roof terraces. The roof terrace on the 5th floor of the low-rise section is freely accessible to all residents. The roof terrace on the 1st floor of the high-rise section can be accessed via the 1st floor and can be reserved through the property manager.
GEB tower features a recreation room on the 1st floor. The residents' committee uses this space to organise resident activities.
Bulky waste must not be left in or around the building, by the compactor, or in the car park.
Do you want to have bulky waste collected? Then make an appointment with the Municipality of Rotterdam yourself in advance.
Arranging for bulky waste collection
Put the bulky household waste outside only on the date, at the time and at the location agreed with the council. Always follow the instructions given when making the appointment.
